BAYCARE CLINIC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
If you are planning on majoring in a healthcare related field this is the scholarship for you. One scholarship will be awarded to a West High Student. The requirements for this scholarship are: academic excellence, community involvement and leadership. There is a requirement for an essay and 3 letters of recommendation. This scholarship is due to your counselor by March 22, 2010.
BEST BUY SCHOLARSHIP
Applicants for this scholarship will need to have outstanding community service and good grades. The deadline for this scholarship is February 15, 2010.
CELLCOM SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for students who plan to attend a 2 or 4-year college with a good academic record, leadership, community service and honors in high school. The deadline for applying for this scholarship is February 25, 2010.
THOMAS LUTSEY SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is available to students who meet the following eligibility requirements:
• Planning to attend an accredited 4-year college or a 2-year program/technical school then transferring to a 4-year program as a full time student.
• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Satisfactory ACT or SAT scores
• Have a rural or agricultural background
• Planning, a career enhancing rural communities such as dairy science, animal science, agricultural engineering, veterinary medicine, agricultural economics, biotechnology, computer science, environmental science, business administration and education.
• Have the need for financial assistance

JANICE M. SCOTT MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Mrs. Janice Marie Scott (nee: Holmes) was a victim of the attacks by terrorists on September 11, 2001. She was among the 125 individuals that were killed in the Pentagon when terrorists took over and crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into that building on the morning of September 11, 2001. As a result, the family members of Mrs. Scott created the Janice M. Scott Memorial Scholarship Fund in October 2001 to honor her legacy.
Students must be a U.S. Citizen with a grade point average of 2.5 or higher. Students must
also have demonstrated leadership abilities through participation in community service, extracurricular or other activities. This scholarship is due to your counselor no later than
March 24, 2010
JARED GEHM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
To qualify for this scholarship you must be a member of the Cross Country Team or be a distance runner for the Track Team. You must also get a recommendation from your Cross Country or Track Coach. This application will be due to your counselor no later than April 23, 2010.
PHI DELTA KAPPA (PDK) PROSPECTIVE EDUCATOR SCHOLARSHIP
Students who are interested in majoring in Education should apply for this scholarship. An essay and two letters of recommendation along with a transcript are required for this scholarship. This scholarship is due to your counselor no later than January 25, 2010.
BENJAMIN EDINGER SCHOLARSHIP OF HONOR
A West High School student will be awarded this scholarship in memory of a former student who died as a result of injuries he sustained in Iraq. Ben was a 1999 West High Graduate. The student who receives this award must be planning a military career or a career of public service, such as Police Science, Fire Science, Teaching, EMT etc. The deadline for turning this application into your counselor is April 15, 2010.
FRIENDS OF THE GREEN BAY SYMPHONY
Students applying for this scholarship must be planning to pursue a career in Music Performance or Music Education. You must have demonstrated a high degree of involvement in music throughout your high school career. The requirements for this scholarship are a cover sheet, a resume and an essay along with a letter of recommendation. The deadline for turning this scholarship into your counselor is March 5, 2010.
UW-Madison Alumni Club of Brown County
This scholarship is for a student who is accepted at UW-Madison. Students must be in the top 15% of their class. It is a $1,000 scholarship. The due date for this scholarship is April 8, 2010.
WISCONSIN SOCIETY FOR CLINICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE
Scholarship and character are requirements to receive this scholarship. You must pursue a degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or Clinical Laboratory Science. An ACT is required. The deadline for this scholarship is February 22, 2010.
