Kohl’s Cares For Kids Scholarship
You must be nominated by someone else to qualify for this scholarship. Another requirement is you must be a community volunteer who has documented efforts that are above and beyond what is normally expected. The deadline for this scholarship is March 15, 2010.
OMNOVA Scholarship
This is a scholarship for a student who is attending a 4-year college majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering or environmental science. You must have a 3.3 GPA and 2 letters of recommendation (one has to be from your chemistry teacher or science department chair). School and community involvement along with financial need are also requirements for this scholarship. This scholarship is due to your counselor no later than April 16, 2010.
WISCONSIN CATTLEMEN/CATTLEWOMEN COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP
If you are planning to pursue a career in the Agriculture field and you have a background in the beef, veal, or dairy industry this is the scholarship for you. Community service and 3 letters of recommendation are also required for this scholarship which is due to your counselor no later than March 10, 2010.
GREEN BAY SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for a student who is entering college as an education major. You must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and complete an essay indicating why you want to become a teacher. You will also need 3 references. This scholarship is due back to your counselor no later than March 18, 2010.

Scholarships, Inc. helps students meet the rising costs of a college education. We are a nonprofit organization funded by forward-thinking donors and supported by a diverse group of community volunteers. Since 1962, we have awarded millions of dollars in scholarships to several thousand students in Wisconsin’s Brown and Door Counties.
The deadline for turning this application into your counselor is February 15, 2010.
PHUTURE PHOENIX SCHOLARSHIP
To be eligible for this scholarship, students must have taken part in a Phuture Phoenix program in the past. This would include a 5th grade tour or Phuture Phoenix tutoring in middle or high school. Students must also be enrolled at UW-Green Bay and have completed the FAFSA application. An essay of 200 words is required. Students may send this application in themselves and it must be postmarked no later than March 30, 2010.
WIESA – WISCONSIN ELECTRONIC SECURITY ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for a student who has a father, mother or natural guardian who is a full-time active employee of the police or sheriff’s department or fire department. Parent/guardian may also be a volunteer member of a fire department. Children of administrative staff do not qualify for this scholarship. A completed application along with an essay, transcript, college acceptance letter, resume and letter of recommendation are also required. The deadline for turning this scholarship application into your counselor is February 22, 2010.
DELTA-KAPPA-GAMMA-HARDIE-FLANAGAN RUEPPEL SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is for a student who is pursuing a career in Education. Students must have high academic achievement, leadership abilities, financial need and 2 letters of recommendation. An essay is also required for this scholarship. This is a $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship is due to your counselor no later than March 8, 2010.
