-AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CIVIL ENGINEERS

Applicant must plan to enroll in a Civil Enginering curriculum. Application must be typed. Applicant must request an electronic version via email to: NunnS@AyresAssociates.com. Essay and three reference letters required.

-REBEKAH SCHOLARSHIP
DUE: 2/23/10
$500 award based on need, desire for at least a two-year course of further education, community service, ethnical moral standards & academic achievement. Letter of recommendation from counselor required. Additional recommendations helpful. Application available in the Career Center.

-WI CATTLEMEN'S & CATTLEWOMEN'SSCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 3/10/10
Applicant may attend any university, technical college community college in the U.S. and the UW-Madison Agricultural Short Course Program. A background in the beef, veal, or dairy industry along with three letters of recommendation required. Preference given to those attending a WI college and majoring in agricultural related field. -OMNOVA SOLUTIONS INC. SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 4/16/10
One $1,500 scholarship renewable for four years. Applicant must attend a four-year college/university and pursue a career in a science related field such as chemistry, chemical engineering, or environmental science. (medical & computer science fields not included) GPA of 3.3/better, two letters of recommendation, involvement in school or community and financial need required.

-GREEN BAY SUBSTITUTE TEACHER'S ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 3/19/10
Two $1,000 scholarships available. Applicant must plan to attend a four-year college majoring in education. Three letters of recommendation and GPA of 3.0/better required. Application available in the Career Center.

-WISCONSIN ELECTRONIC SECURITY ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 2/22/10
Applicant must have a parent/legal guardian who is an active full-time employee of the police or sheriff's department or fire department. Parent/guardian may also be a volunteer member of a fire department.

-SFM FOUNDATION-
DUE: 3/19/10
Applicant must be the natural, adopted, step-child or full dependent of a worker injured or killed in a work-related accident during the course & scope of employment with a Minnesota-or WI based employer and entitled to receive benefits under the Minnesota Worker's Compensation Act or Worker's Compenstation Act of WI. Based on academic achievement, aptitude, extra-curricular activities, and community service. May plan to attend either a four-year or technical college. Only one application is needed for consideration of the pool of scholarships. Students must be admitted to UW-Fox Valley. Most new student scholarships require full-time enrollment. Applicant must plan to pursue a career in education. Based on financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, leadership abilities, community service. Two letters of recommendatin, essay, and ACT/SAT required. Application available in the Career Center.

-PHUTURE PHIENIX SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 3/19/10
$1,000 scholarship. Applicant must have been accepted to UWGB and have participated in the Phuture Phoenix program. Based on need and essay. FAFSA application required. Available online at: www.uwgb.edu/phuturephoenix. Also available in the Career Center.

-DONALD DRIVER FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 5/24/10
Applicant must be accepted to a 2-4-year college, university or technical college as a full-time student. Applicant must participate in one service project that benefits homelessness, education, or low-income populations. GPA of 3.0/better and ACT of 18.better, essay and two letters of recommendation required. Based on financial need.

-CHALLENGE THE OUTDOORS INC. MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 3/19/10
Applicant may attend a technical college or university. Applicant must be an individual with physical challenges or someone pursuing an eduction toward a career working with persons with physical disabilities ie: special education teacher, physical/occupational therapist,speech therapist etc. GPA of 2.5/better and transcript required. application available in the Career Center.

-FRANK BROWN SCHOLARSHIP
DUE: 4/23/10
Applicant must be a son, daughter, grandson,or granddaughter, of a current VFW or VFW Ladies Auxiliary member. Transcript, ACT/SAT,, and copy of financial aid form or other financial disclosure required. Application available in the Career Center.

-AES ENGINEERS SCHOLARSHIP
DUE: 10/8/10
Applicants are not required to be taking Engineering courses to be eligible for this $500 scholarship. Applicant must submit an essay in answer to one of the two questions posted on the website. -FOX VALLEY CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 3/24/09
Applicant must attend a four-year college majoring in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Construction Management at one of the following colleges: UW-Madison, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Platteville, UW-Stout, Marquette University, or Milwaukee School of Engineering. Essay, transcript, ACT/SAT, & letter of recommendation required. Application available in the Career Center.

-RAY KLISS & PAST PRESIDENT'S MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

$1,000 scholarship available. Applicant must plan to pursue a career in environmental science and related conservation programs. May attend a four-year or technical college. Based on need, character, leadership, and educational desire. Transcript, three letters of recommendation, and resume required. Application available in the Career Center.

-GBEA UNIVERSITY/TECHNICAL SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 4/2/10
Applicant may attend either a four-year college/university or technical college. Must possess high academic & leadership skills. Essay and two letters of recommendation required. Preference given to students pursuing a career in education. Application available in the Career Center.

-SHARON SCHUMER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 4/8/10
$1,000 scholarship. Applicant may attend any college/university (public/private--NOT just in WI) Applicant must be active in his/her pro-life convictions. Two essays on pro-life convictions and a commitment to future pro-live leadership in some capacity on your college campus required. Two letters of reommendation and a summary of your past pro-life involvement also required.

-PATRICK WOOD SCHOLARSHIP
DUE: 4/9/10
Scholarship will be awarded to a Preble senior who plans to attend either an academic college or a technical college. Application available in the Career Center.

-TOM FINLAN SCHOLARSHIP-

Applicant must be a member of the Preble Cross Country Team or distant runner on the Preble Track Team. (male or female) Recommendation from a Preble Cross Country coach or Track coach required. Class rank is a consideration. Application available in the Career Center.

-RESCH SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 4/9/10
Applicant must have been accepted to a four-year college and plan to major in math, science, or engineering. Based on academic achievement and athletic involvement. Applicant must have led a drug-free lifestyle.

-PREBLE PARENT NETWORK ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP-
DUE: 4/16/10
Applicant may attend either a four-year or technical college. Scholarship based on service contributions. Essay required explaining how your service affected others as well as how it influenced your academic and career goals.
