Hello! Welcome to GB West's Southwest's and Preble's Teen Age Parent Program's (TAPP) website. This is the second year of me travelling to the three schools. (East High School has their own program, and some Preble students transfer to East for a full day: some TAPP classes and some elective and required classes outside TAPP.) I'm Maria Smith, teacher and contact for TAPP, housed at GB West HS, servicing pregnant and parenting teens at West (and feeder schools), Southwest (and feeder schools), and also Preble students who decide to stay at Preble. This fall I'll be teaching TAPP classes at Southwest periods 1 and 2, at Preble period 4, and ending my day at West teaching TAPP classes periods 6 and 7. Travel to Preble will be period 3 and travel to West will be period 5. Fall 2007 will my tenth year in TAPP and my thirty-fourth year of teaching all grades from K-12 and adults. Along with being a parent myself, my teaching background has been multi-faceted.
