SI Units and Prefixes from NIST

Information on the International System (SI) of units used by scientists, presented by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology. NIST is the agency responsible for establishing uniform standards of measurement for science and commerce.

Physics Simulations

Great site for physics simulations from the University of Colorado Physics Education Technology project, including the popular "Projectile Motion"

Electrostatics Simulations

Link to JAVA simulations of static electricity phenomena. Simulation E may be used to help answer question 6 on the AP Physics "Electic Potential Energy, Voltage, and Capacitance" problem set. Move charges so that they are lined up vertically with charge "a" in between charges "b" and "c." The signs of the charges may not be the same as those drawn on the problem set.
