  • Seniors:  You will be required to submit all scholarship applications and materials on or before the date listed on this scholarship Volume.  If you are asking a teacher or counselor for a recommendation letter, please allow a two-week turn around period.

 

 

Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Scholarship

            -$1000

-Senior who intends to enroll in a postsecondary institution: college/university/technical school

-Wisconsin resident

-Students in good standing

-Will be evaluated on leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement and academic achievement.

-Must be turned into Student Services by Nov.12, 2009

Schneider-Emanuel American Legion Scholarship

 

                        -Must qualify under at least one of the following criteria:

                                    Son/daughter of a current member of American Legion

                                    Grandson/granddaughter of an American Legion member

Applicant himself must be a current member of the American Legion

-If you meet any of these criteria please get more information about this scholarship in the Career Center.

            -Due March 1, 2010

 

 

 

AFSCME Family Scholarship Program

            -Be a graduating senior

-Be a daughter, son or financially independent grandchild of an active or retired AFSCME member

-Attending a four year college or university

-10 $2000 scholarships

-Application can be picked up in the Career Center.

-Application along with all other support items must be postmarked by December 31, 2009

-Scholarships of up to $1500 based on academic achievement, leadership in school, community activities, and financial need

AXA Achievement Scholarship

            -Active in community

            -Have a project that benefits others

            -Have you overcome personal challenges?

            -$10,000 or $25,000

Elks Constitution of the United States Test

-Applicants will take a local lodge test on the Constitution.  The high score will then take a state test on Sunday April 11, 2010.  First place award last year was $2800.  Each applicant reaching State will receive some award.

-Pick up an application in the Career Center

-Application due March 31, 2010

            -UW-Platteville Community Scholarship for Green Bay East High School

            -$150.00

            -Must be going to Platteville

            -Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2010
